So what is a core erotic theme, you ask? Your core erotic theme is core in that it sits at the heart of your individual eroticism. It is thematic in that the different story lines of relationships that you've experienced and the fantasies that turn you on have been inspired by an underlying theme. The script of the actual experience or fantasy might be different but the themes are the same.
How do you start to discover your unique CET?
Start by thinking of the collection of images, fantasies and real life encounters that have been peak turn ons for you.
What do you see?
What patterns or themes do they have in common?
By taking some time to explore your experiences and fantasies, you can begin to discern a pattern and discover the secrets of your true eroticism.
It's important to keep in mind that your CET is more than a simple checklist of turn-ons! By understanding your unique CET, you can develop a greater ability to understand why you have chosen certain partners and why certain things turn you on! You can also be more empowered about future choices around your sexuality.
